SEO Content Manager (6 Month FTC)

This popular brand uses its strong partnerships to find its customers the best deals, and needs a talented SEO Content Manager to join them on a 6 month fixed-term contract (with possibilities for extension or a permanent position!). They offer fully remote working for this role.

Our client is looking for a content connoisseur to manage the content lifecycle across all platforms. If you have a flair for writing, possibly with a background in a creative agency, then this could be the perfect role for you! The SEO Content Manager will not only be a whizz with words, but they’ll also understand the practical importance of great content for SEO purposes, and be able to analyse the performance of their work using analytic tools.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing, planning, and executing exciting and effective content
• Working with the SEO team to understand what type of content will encourage organic search traffic to the site
• Writing copy for all aspects of the business, from social media to landing pages
• Communicating effectively with external agencies in order to deliver content on time
• Provide SEO value to the website by understanding how to group, crosslink and include reference related topics
• Occasionally working with popular bloggers and influencers on collaborations

Skills and attributes:

• 1+ year of experience writing, editing and executing amazing content
• Strong understanding of SEO practices and how to optimise content
• Knowledge of Google Keyword Planner and Google Analytics
• Ability to work remotely – motivated, organised and adaptable
• Familiarity with team collaboration tools such as Trello or Jira (beneficial)
