Senior Online Merchandiser - Cheshire - Up to £60,000 + Benefits

Our client is a household-name FMCG retailer who over recent years have cemented themselves as one of the fastest growing retailers in their sector, due to a highly-regarded online team that this role would be joining

Reporting directly to the Online Director, the Senior Online Merchandiser will be responsible for the continued optimisation and delivery of the websites merchandising and trading strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the onsite merchandising with both short and long-term strategy in mind
• Be commercially astute with a customer-fist mentality, focusing on online sales and key metrics
• Ensure a consistent onsite experience in-line with brand guidelines
• Continuously review onsite performance, use data provided to identify opportunities to increase online sales and deliver KPIs. Feedback findings to the wider eCommerce & Marketing teams also
• Support the wider Marketing team by ensuring best practices throughout the website

Requirements:

• Proven experience in another Ecommerce or Merchandising role, preferably within a FMCG/Retail brand
• Commercially minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced online environment
• An understanding of SEO & CRO best practices for onsite performance
• Ability to work as part of a wider team and develop juniors where necessary
• Confident using analytical tools to shape decision making and strategy
