As a Senior Insight and Forecasting Analyst, you will be developing complex forecasting models to support the business and its partners to plan and deliver to the highest standard. You will be working with large, complex data from all departments and external market and geographic data and providing insight to accurately predict and plan.

In this role you will:

• Build and maintain complex forecasting models to support logistical planning
• Work with large data sets across marketing, operations and product and link this with external market trends and geographical data
• Provide insight to support client and partner strategy
• Deliver accurate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts
• Create new reporting solutions in consultation with stakeholders to deliver appropriate data / reporting in line with requirements
• Maintain and update existing reports in Alteryx / PowerBI

 

About you:

• Attention to detail and strong problem‐solving skills
• An effective communicator who can explain and present complex data to others
• A drive to constantly keep learning new skills and techniques
• Ability to work pro-actively, self-sufficiently and manage your own workload and priorities
• Creativity when presenting data and solving data problems
• Ability to query SQL databases for data investigation, adhoc queries or data import / export
• Ability to create interactive and engaging dashboards in PowerBI for user self service
• Ability to create and schedule workflows in Alteryx to ETL data for analytical and reporting datasets (Desirable)
• Create predictive models and implement them using appropriate tools e.g. Alteryx, R, Python etc (Desirable)
