Reporting in to the Head of Digital, the Senior Digital Optimisation Manager will be responsible for the user experience across all ecommerce websites and ensuring Google best practice is adhered to. 

They will devise and deliver a ‘best in class’ roadmap to meet customer expectations. They will lead on all UX/CRO initiatives delivering consistently high quality and engaging personalised customer journeys that resonate with the customer.

They will support the team with A/B and MVT testing plans to define the roadmap with proof of concept. 

In addition, they will manage and support the SEO team ensuring the websites are fully optimised to deliver exceptional search engine results, along with kickstarting a backlink strategy.

In this role you will be expected to utilise your experience as a digital optimisation specialist to:

  • Create a roadmap for optimisation for the customer journey, identifying barriers, and monitor ecommerce trends.
  • Report on and analyse website metrics, overall customer engagement and conversion onsite to develop future strategies and areas for improvement.
  • Must be experienced with A/B and MVT testing for optimising online conversion.
  • Work closely with IT to review and test changes throughout the development period.  Support on designing wireframes as and when required. Oversee UAT testing and ensuring smooth transitions and efficient launches.
  • Share learning with the wider business – eg, customer behaviour, test results, SEO successes. Ensure teams follow a customer and data centric approach.
  • Lead the SEO strategy & technical roadmaps, onsite content plans, SEO outreach. Keep up to date on the latest changes to the Google algorithms, and understand what constitutes to good site health.
  • Analyse, digest and present information using GA and other reporting tools and provide reports to assist in improvements across onsite campaign activity.
