This is a brand new role for the business which is viewed as critical by senior management, so there’s a huge career opportunity to make your mark in a high profile role They are looking for a super-talented Senior Creative who can bring new ideas and concepts to their ever-evolving product offering. They need someone to work closely with the Design Manager to lead creative briefs and push boundaries to help deliver a best-in-class personalised gifting range. They need a skilled designer but also a great communicator who is commercially aware and can create products that customers will love! And you must LOVE dogs (or cats).

Responsibilities of the Senior Creative Designer:

  • Leading design briefs, set by the Design Manager, to produce the creative artwork for new products across gifting, homeware and essentials range.
  • Generating ideas and concepts that produce brilliant designs and uncompromised quality.
  • Focus on creativity and originality, with keen attention to detail, while keeping the customer at the heart of what they do.
  • Stay in tune with design trends, experiment and innovate.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for delivering exceptional products that customers will love.
  • Be involved with all aspects of the process to take initial ideas through to finished products.

Experience:

  • Proven portfolio that showcases a love of illustration, typography, layout and packaging.
  • Experience designing for consumer goods/products.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically PS, AI and ID
  • Excellent knowledge of design for print, including production, manufacturing processes and best practices.
  • Enjoy being part of a team and are happy and willing to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Good time management and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be motivated, self-sufficient and able to prioritise workload
