Our client is a multi-award winning global agency who has experienced huge success over the years. Due to their vast client portfolio of prestigious global brands, they are now searching for an experienced Senior Account Manager to help with their exciting up and coming projects!

Based in their Manchester City Centre offices, you will be joining a young and energetic team who are very passionate about providing their clients with the best possible experience. The Senior Account Manager will be required to closely support the Account Director in building strong relationships with clients and developing projects tailored to their needs.

Main Responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager:

  • Juggling a number of projects and tasks simultaneously and consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • You will be the main point of contact for clients across key marketing, shopper retail and experiential campaigns.
  • Accountable for client service processes such as team status, client status reports, budget timing plans, finance management, production bookings and drafting creative briefs.
  • Work closely alongside the account director in order to grow accounts and develop new accounts.
  • Understanding of the customer journey to purchase and beyond and implement this knowledge as part of the process.
  • Participate in training curriculum in order to develop an understanding of agency tools and processes.
  • Manages up effectively to line manager and wider team, tailoring the appropriate level of information to ensure effective prioritisation of issues and resolution.
  • Excellent adoption of account management ensuring all deadlines and budgets are met.

 Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Senior Account Management role with prospects of becoming an Account Director.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of retail markets and FMCG brands.
  • Able to tailor communications and style to different stakeholders and personalities.
  • Very good organisational and time management skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude- confident and enthusiastic.
