Situated in a picturesque area of Cheshire, our client’s office is easily accessible from Manchester City Centre and other surrounding areas. The business has growth plans in place and in the next three years, they hope to become market leaders. To assist with this expansion, they are now looking for a Sales Team Operation Lead to join their team and steer them towards future success.

Working in the Sales and Marketing team, the Sales Team Operation Lead will be accountable for the utilising the Salesforce CRM platform to drive sales and ROI.  The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team and will ensure that the whole team is working coherently in order to achieve the desired results. Another key element of the role will include communicating key insights in regards to pricing data and CRM, therefore, our client is looking for an ambitious individual with excellent communication and team leadership skills.

The Main Responsibilities of the Sales Team Operation Lead:

  • Work closely with the marketing team in order to ensure that all sales processes are understood and communicated.
  • Ensure that the team is fully aware and trained on the standards of data accuracy by maintaining CRM standards.
  • Produce regular reports which measure the performance of all marketing campaigns and lead generations in order to be able to provide actionable data insight.
  • Develop and maintain a sales dashboard which will provide key stakeholders with an insight into KPI targets.
  • Recruit, train and mentor the sales marketing team and ensure that all work produced is of the highest standard possible.
  • Responsible for generating relevant sales forecasts by utilising pipeline data.
  • To take charge of the Pricing Strategy whilst factoring in commercial factors.

The Key Skills and Attributes of the Sales Team Operation Lead:  

  • Previous experience working in a similar role and working within commercial pricing, sales operations and CRM.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets whilst working in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to use CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Fantastic numeracy, analytical and communication skills are essential for the role.
  • A strong commercial acumen combined with the ability to managing multiple projects at any given time.
  • Capable of building strong relationships whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
