The Sales Director will thrive on success within the SaaS space, that will come as second nature to the correct person who will have a portfolio of experience driving business growth with a robust sales strategy.

The Sales Director will have a team approach and believe in building the capabilities of their members in order to deliver. They will be super focused and have the short term and long-term strategic goals at the centre of all decision making that will create an excellent customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Sales Director:

  • Create strategy to grow customer base and new business opportunity
  • Identify and deliver a structured pipeline of sales and outcome
  • Keep up to date with the industry advances and adhere to best practice
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated in approach to sales generation
  • Use existing network to build and deliver pipeline
  • Create and build on existing relationships and take opportunities to create opportunities for customers by providing consultative and customer centric advice
  • Lead team to success through careful coaching and building capabilities

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience of generating recurring revenue in a subscription model
  • Experience using SAAS and a HCM environment
  • Tech minded and always learning, know their product inside out
  • Can coach and train and demo technical products
  • Someone who works at pace carefully executing and creating long and short term strategy for change
  • Someone who will lead from the front and hands on with sales calls and closing deals when required and offer on the job coaching, mentoring and training to build team capabilities
