Research Client Director x2 - £40,000 + £6000 Bonus - Manchester - Food and Drink

Our client works with some of the UK’s biggest brands to help them understand the drivers of their performance and revenue. They establish integrated consumer insight and market measurement to inform clients across the globe with strategies for growth. With offices in the UK and USA, you will be joining an ambitious business at an exciting point in their growth journey.

They are now looking for a Research Client Director, who is ambitious and ready to lead a Client Success team to ensure clients across the drinks industry receive truly value adding client service and insights from all of their projects. The Research Client Director develops and implements client level strategy, motivating, leading and inspiring the account teams to deliver on Key Account Management plans, as well as contributing to business development opportunities through their own senior stakeholder engagement.

As a Consumer Research Manager you will have the opportunity to be part of a great team based in the UK which is expanding into new international markets, developing new capabilities and working with the biggest food and drink suppliers across this vibrant sector.

The Role:

  • Accountable for all aspects of client management: reviewing & coaching team to ensure account strategy & engagement objectives are achieved
  • Leading account level strategy & OKRs/KPIs with aim of achieving account status of business partner/consultant across multiple clients in the USA and Canada
  • Provide true consultative solutions to client business questions, fostering high quality client partnerships, backed up by delivering best in class insights
  • Working collaboratively and communicating with clarity across the Americas teams, to ensure high quality projects and insights are delivering true value across our portfolio of clients.
  • Leading and supporting in building briefs and proposals for a range of client pitches and contract renewals
  • Managing and mentoring in the team. Supporting and motivating them to not only achieve the team and business objectives, but their own personal development goals.
  • This role is designed for experienced Client Success Managers, Senior Client Managers or Client Insight Managers looking to develop further in a leading research and consultancy business

About You:

  • An experienced client manager, dedicated to adding value to clients and ensuring every project is delivered at a high quality.
  • Experience and proven success in account management and use of account development plans, OKRs and client account strategy.
  • Experience in leading and contributing to client proposals and pitches that truly add value to clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator looking to collaborate with internal teams.
  • High energy, positive, self-reliant and able to motivate those around you.
  • Experienced in pulling and analysis insights from data and a talent for finding the ‘story’ behind the data and able to see the value this adds to our clients.
  • Proven ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment of competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A commitment to consistency and finding and implementing best practice to ensure high standards are maintained across everything the team touches.
  • An inspiring leader who cares for the team and is passionate about sharing knowledge and coaching teams, with a proven track record in developing people to success.
  • Organised, ambitious, hardworking and up for a challenge.
  • Passionate about eating and drinking out.
