Based right in the heart of Manchester City Centre, our well-established client has experienced unprecedented success in recent years as one of the UK’s industry leaders. Due to this success, they are now looking for a talented Research and Insight Manager to join their talented team to help drive the business forward.

The Research and Insight Manager will be passionate about data and they will be champion of the customer's voice and will be commercially focused on the user, client and business goals. The perfect candidate will have an interest in the media landscape and genuine passion for developing actionable insight from innovative research methods and data sources.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Research and Insight Manager:

  • Implant a customer-centric culture and innovation to drive new value propositions and improve customer experience.
  • Analyse a variety of datasets and make recommendations to help deliver market-leading customer experience.
  • Manage total project lifestyle; systematic planning to priorities high-value opportunities and effective handling of stakeholder expectations.
  • Translate both qualitative and quantitative data into useful insights
  • Conduct in-depth research projects to build the understanding of the customer, market and our competition.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to continuously build customer view and the wider market.
  • Creation of questionnaires, research pieces, blog posts, written content etc.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Genuinely interested in both insight and the media landscape
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to stay ahead of emerging technology, software, news and trends
  • Hungry to learn and highly collaborative in their capture and delivery of information.
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs, behaviours, trends and preferences.
  • Highly organised and can conduct research in an effective manner.
  • Experienced delivering user-research sessions, demonstrating the ability to balance numerous mental demands whilst staying objective.
