Programmatic Account Manager - Manchester - Up to £25,000

We are recruiting for a digital platform specialist based in Manchester and they are on the lookout for a talented, Programmatic Account Manager to get under the operations of the business and build, trade and optimise programmatic displays and audio campaigns. They will get the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients from property and professional services through to tourism and food and beverages.

They are looking for someone with programmatic desk experience that can hit the ground running and really make an impact from the get-go. Someone who is confident to get into the detail and manage campaigns from set up through to EOC so someone who is very switched on to all components of the process is essential. There is an important technical aspect to this role so someone who is analytical and comfortable with numbers will also flourish in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Programmatic Account Manager

  • Use multiple DSPs to run a mix of Display, Video and Audio campaigns.
  • Own campaign set ups, creative upload, campaign monitoring, optimisations, trouble shooting, making recommendations, and presenting results.
  • Trafficking creative with a 3rd party ad server.
  • Guide and advise on technical aspects of campaign set up and operation i.e. pixels, GA etc…
  • Ensure campaigns are running at optimum performance and achieving KPI’s.
  • Develop performance strategies to optimise, improve ROI and pitch for incremental revenue.
  • Report on performance and figures
  • Finalise all campaign billing figures, reporting to agencies and the business monthly
  • Attendance at event
  • Ensure internal reporting templates are updated daily

Skills and Attributes

  • Self-starter attitude keen to perform and develop within the role
  • A minimum of 1 year’s strong experience in a programmatic trading desk
  • Experience in managing digital ad campaigns
  • Knowledge of 3rd party ad serving, website tracking and associated tech
  • Understands programmatic buying, including DSPs/SSPs, RTB, ad exchanges, DMPs, audience targeting
  • Proficient in Excel (‘IF’ formulas / v-look ups and pivot tables)
  • Understanding of VAST and VPAID would be highly desirable
  • Numerical and analytical skills are essential
  • Exemplary attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Running on high energy, motivation and with excellent attention to detail
