Product Manager – Up to £55K – 2-days per week in the office (Lancashire)

The Candidate has partnered with a household name within the retail space as they look to grow their team with the addition of an eCommerce focussed Product Manager. The role involves overseeing platform development, ensuring website health, and making key decisions on technology stack and integrations.

Salary on offer is up to £55K with a hybrid working pattern of 2-days a week from their office in Lancashire & 3-days from home. The role is an initial 12-18 month FTC to cover maternity.

The average tenure within the team is over 5-years; this is due to the environment they’ve developed that ensures people feel fulfilled within their roles, are given regular promotions and salary reviews & work on interesting greenfield projects.

As part of your role you will:

  • Craft, maintain, and drive the product roadmap in collaboration with the Head of eCommerce.
  • Oversee the implementation of new features, prioritizing according to business needs.
  • Ensure quality-assured releases through effective testing processes.
  • Review customer journeys and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with system integrators and engineering teams.
  • Actively monitor website performance and address issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, including GDPR, EU Cookie Directive & PCI.
  • Manage the product development budget, ensuring adherence to the planned budget.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong understanding of retail/eCommerce.
  • Hands-on experience as a Product Owner/Manager/Analyst is preferred.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices, architecture, and web technologies.
  • Project management and budget management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
