Key Roles and Responsibilities of a PR Manager:

  • Develop and deliver PR strategy and activities across both on and offline platforms.
  • Establish the business in the minds of the public through engaging stories and content.
  • Responsible for all media relations and ensuring the business keeps up a positive brand image.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including media contacts and senior management.
  • Seek new PR strategies and ideas to enhance current campaigns.
  • Work closely with wider marketing teams to deliver engaging content and marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Network with multiple stakeholders and raise brand image at corporate events.

Key Skills and Requirements of a PR Manager:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working within a similar PR role.
  • Must be highly organised with the ability to handle multiple projects within a strict time frame.
  • Strong work ethic is a must with excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous knowledge or understanding of media law and industry guidelines working in compliance with these.
  • A thorough understanding of social media and how to efficiently work with influencers.
  • Prior familiarity with dynamic financial and regulated environments.
