PR Manager – Leisure – Manchester - £25,000 to £30,000

 Want to join the busy and exciting environment of Manchester? Work as a PR Manager for an award winning company with an ambition for success.

Our client is looking for a new and enthusiastic PR Manager to take charge of the department and make a difference. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the overall deliverance of the brand image across the different media sectors, building awareness and encouraging successful maintenance through broadcast, traditional, online and social networks. The role will involve the management of external PR agencies with the brand image being successfully implemented across the sectors. They will also influence the promotion of the brand, its culture and values through internal and external marketing activities.

The Main Responsibilities of the PR Manager:

  • Accountable for the development of well-balanced PR and communication strategies.
  • Manage the relationship with our PR agency, acting as the main person of contact for all different communications.
  • Build relationships with key media contacts, generating coverage and publicity
  • Write reports on media coverage data, whilst being able to understand SEO values and the impacts that brand influence on awareness
  • Seek new business opportunities through external partnerships, ambassadorships and events sponsorships
  • Arrange and manage press conferences and events with external agencies.

Key Skills and Attributes of the PR Manager:

  • A creative individual, ready to implement innovative ideas to the team
  • Able to build strong relationships with media influence and generate publicity
  • Strong communicational and written skills.
  • Previous experience working in a similar environment, able to handle pressure and intense workload
  • Able to measure the impact of reviews, reports and PR campaigns
