This is an exciting opportunity for a diligent, creative individual to join a highly successful agency, as their new PR Account Manager.  This agency works with a wide range of clients across all different sectors, including retail, fashion, live events, beauty, and toys, making no two days the same! A self-starter, the account manager will be a key contact for the agency’s expanding client base and will be expected to provide excellent customer service to all accounts. 

Based in Manchester’s bustling Northern Quarter, you will be just a stone’s throw away from shops and bars, as well as convenient transport links nearby.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of the PR Account Manager:

• Key point of contact for clients, ensuring that quality standards are met and excellent customer service is provided.
• Work closely with Managing Director and third parties in order to deliver PR campaigns.
• Generate excellent PR opportunities in order to gain coverage in consumer media.
• Manage clients, understand their requirements and optimise the opportunity to utilise PR to their advantage.
• Assist in the reporting, analysis, and evaluation of PR campaigns, ensuring all activity is monitored, tracked and shared with the client to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the agency’s clients.
• Project management duties
• Seek opportunities for account growth and business development.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• A minimum of 3 years’ consumer PR experience, preferably agency-side.
• Used to working in fast-paced environment
• Have a good grasp on integrated social media and PR campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong copywriting ability.
• Good media contacts
• Blogger, vlogger or celebrity ambassador experience.
• A creative thinker.
• A team player.
• Attention to detail and well organised.
