The PPC Manager will have the desire to develop their digital marketing skills, as well as an understanding of how biddable media fits into the multi-channel approach offered to their clients. The successful individual will be responsible for a variety of duties across PPC, including performing continuous paid keyword discovery and analysing competitor advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind, along with a great grasp of statistics and enjoy data interpretation and analysis.

 

The Key Responsibilities of the PPC Manager:

  • Develop and manage the digital advertising strategy across the company’s multiple brands
  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI on paid search campaigns
  • Track and report website analytics for paid advertising campaigns
  • Manage campaign costs to meet the cost of acquisition targets whilst maximising volume
  • Optimise copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
  • Research and analyse competitor advertising strategies and plan appropriate responses
  • Report back to the wider business on developments and product releases by Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ideally has 3-4 years’ experience running paid digital advertising campaigns for B2C and B2B brands
  • An understanding of how to develop the operations which support high-performance search engine marketing
  • You’ll be hugely analytical, but with a creative flair, meaning you thrive on a challenge and revel in achieving your goals
  • You’ll be passionate about the quality of your work, and boast a fastidious attention to detail
  • Passionate about assisting and supporting small and local businesses
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to difficult challenges
  • BSc/BA, preferably in a numerical discipline
