Looking to take the next step in your marketing career? Become a PPC Executive for one of the largest sporting retailers in the UK! The role comes complete with a number of great benefits!

The main responsibility of the successful candidate will be to support the PPC Manager in maintaining and developing the domestic and international PPC accounts for sports across all paid channels including search, display and google shopping.

The company will be fully supportive of the successful candidate, ongoing training will be available to guarantee that the new PPC Executive is fully prepared for their latest challenge! The ideal candidate will be able to ensure that these PPC accounts are constantly well maintained, working efficiently whether left alone to complete a task or working within a team. To make sure that everyone within the teams is on the same wavelength, good communication skills are essential!

Key responsibilities of a PPC Executive:

  • Put in place plans for the delivery of campaigns, manage them throughout and review the performance post campaign.
  • Safeguard and develop all paid channels to deliver efficient and effective campaigns.
  • Create daily / weekly reports with results for internal stakeholders.
  • Develop automation where appropriate and custom notifications to keep track of performance.
  • Testing and maximising the output of campaigns to meet given targets.
  • Ensure management are kept up to date with all enhancements and betas’ whilst managing the bid management platform to meet targets.
  • Analyse company data to identify trends and opportunities within the marketplace and the paid search accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all departments so that communication is clear to support product launches and all promotions.
  • Work closely with external partners and account managers to constantly develop and improve paid activity. - Work side by side with external partners and account managers to develop and improve paid activity.
  • Constantly reviewing appropriate software that could improve the paid channels. Where necessary, working with partners to deliver and manage the transition process.
  • Participate in quarterly reviews with partners to create appropriate and effective plans.

Skills Necessary for the Role:

  • It would be advantageous to have experience with Google AdWords.
  • Strong understanding of Excel.
  • Good knowledge of Google Shopping and display.
  • A history working with budgets and KPI’s.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, insightful and able to draw key points from data analysis.
  • Experience and understanding of other digital channels and multichannel marketing
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Second language an advantage
