Planning Executive - Manchester City Centre (2 Days a Week in the Office) - Up to £28,000 - Agency

Our client is a global media agency with regional office in Manchester City Centre and they are now looking for a Planning Executive to work on a TOP new clients, working with a number of household brands. You will be working alongside the Client Lead and Planning Lead, and will be a main contact point for your clients, helping to plan their media and manage the accounts.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A persistent, inquisitive, and curious approach to problem-solving
  • Expertise with planning tools and industry intelligence, such as: YouGov, Touchpoints, TGI, and Mintel etc
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • You pay close attention to detail and have a good administrative background.
  • Capacity and eagerness to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and take responsibility for your own development
  • Solid working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The primary point of contact for clients on a daily basis, exhibiting an innovative and proactive approach in all client interactions.
  • Assure that all client expectations are managed well and that all client demands are met and exceeded promptly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Possess a thorough awareness of the client's business, brand, industry, rivals, and target markets.
  • Assume leadership in managing and executing campaigns after the client has given sign off, coordinating closely with Activation teams and communicating with agency partners to keep everyone informed.
  • Sending clients your weekly status reports and comprehensive campaign reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the client lead to comprehend and proactively manage the short-, medium-, and long-term goals and expectations of the client.
  • Ensure that all financial management procedures are top-notch. Verify POs and keep an accurate PO tracker, make sure clients pay on time, resolve any billing disputes, etc.
  • Fully acquaint yourself with our clients systems and tools, to ensure that you have a firm grasp of them and are comfortable discussing them with clients.
