This role offers possibilities for remote working, or the option to work in our client’s trendy offices based in a prestigious location in Manchester City Centre, where you would be just a stone’s throw from excellent transport links as well as a plethora of shops, bars, and restaurants!

Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead, the Performance Marketing Specialist will be an expert in Paid Search management, evaluation, and strategy. This role focusses on delivering Optimal Commercial Returns through effective campaign and BUA activity implementation. They will be responsible for developing cohesive Paid Search strategies, as well as analysing key financial measures. The ability to manage successful paid search programmes across search engines such as Google, whilst create exciting Ad content with measurable ROI and ROAS, is key to this position.

Key Responsibilities of the Performance Marketing Specialist:

  • Working with the Paid Search team in developing and executing a cohesive and effective strategy across all acquisition channels and teams (organic/paid search)
  • Collaborate on account structure management across all major search engines
  • Work on the progression of the target keyword portfolio, including negative keyword creation and management, across both BAU and campaign level paid search.
  • Supporting the creation of strategies to lesson gaps between budget and forecast using Paid Search
  • Delivering appropriate reporting of both BAU and campaign budgets
  • Creating and implementing an effective bid strategy, including bid price management, with the wider team

Performance Marketing Specialist skills and attributes:

  • An expert in PPC techniques and how these contribute towards the overall marketing mix
  • Comprehensive experience in tools such as AdWords/Merchant Centre
  • Able to handle complex data sets using MS Office suite
  • A solid understanding of eCommerce practices, technology and tactics
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, sales focused environment
  • A logical and analytical thinker with a high level of technical knowledge
  • Ability to communicate to multiple, often senior, stakeholders
  • Able to both lead and work effectively within a team, contributing proactively in order to motivate others
  • A working understanding of financial planning/frameworks, always considering agreed commercial returns and objectives
