Performance Marketing Executive – Education – up to £25K – Greater Manchester – Flexible working


Reporting into the Digital Acquisition Lead, this role will support activity across acquisition channels such as paid social and affiliates. You’ll help to increase brand awareness, co-ordinate affiliate marketing campaigns and optimise paid social campaigns.

Performance Marketing Executive Responsibilities

  • Transition existing paid social accounts from agency to in-house
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to reach the right audience at the right time
  • Undertake required analysis and A/B testing to identify relevant creative to optimise campaigns
  • End to end management of paid social & affiliate campaigns: budget, testing, and optimisation of ads
  • Analyse results and identify patterns on a daily/weekly basis
  • Analyse, strategize and maximise the spending impact on assisted channels
  • Liaise with media owners (e.g., Facebook and Twitter) to troubleshoot issues
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of their audience to find the best communication approach
  • Grow KPIs across full-funnel activity on paid social and affiliates from awareness through to conversion
  • Keep up to date with new social media platforms and digital trends
  • Provide regular reports on performance metrics and market related insights

Performance Marketing Executive Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience running campaigns through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest
  • Experience with AWIN
  • Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on ROI
  • Excellent budget management skills
  • A strong focus on achieving KPIs with significant experience working with multiple reporting sources
  • Knowledge of CRO and A/B testing
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Creative with strong copywriting skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with broader teams. Google Analytics and Data Studio experience is desirable.
