Paid Search Associate Director – Central London – Agency – Competitive Salary

Our client is renowned for being extremely intelligent about their work by understanding what their customers want and introducing them to ground-breaking digital solutions. Their success and multiple awards have resulted in rapid growth, which is the reason why they now need a Paid Search Associate Director! The successful candidate will work on all parts of the projects from Content and Copywriting to Design and Client Services, whilst managing multiple paid campaigns across several platforms and different industries.

This agency is looking for an individual who can work with integrity and take ownership of their work. It is essential that the successful candidate is a fast learner, as all employees have to stay on top of new digital trends and developments in the industry, so they continue to be extremely proficient in social media, web, and technology. The Associate Director will be very proactive and a self-starter, as they will conduct reports and analyse campaign performance to identify potential improvements for the business.

Main responsibilities of the Paid Search Associate Director:

  • Manage and implement paid media campaigns across multiple platforms; ensuring that they are performing to the highest standard
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to manage budgets most efficiently
  • Review paid media and display activities to enhance campaign ROI
  • Conduct competitor and keyword research, whilst being responsible for bid management  
  • Work closely with the designers and developers to optimise the landing pages
  • Run A/B testing setup and tracking
  • Provide insights from campaign performances and communicate this to other team members
  • Nurture strong client relationships and intervene with solutions to problems before they intensify
  • Be accountable for the other team members and offer training and support when needed

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a paid media role, working with PPC campaigns
  • Proven experience of working within an agency environment is vital
  • Comfortable and capable of leading and managing a team
  • Extremely good knowledge of Paid Social, display, content marketing, paid search, targeting and retargeting.
  • Previous experience working with campaign planning and paid media platforms
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) is essential for this role
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and channels, while keeping set deadlines
  • Must possess the following qualifications: Google AdWords Certification, Google Analytics Certification, and a relevant degree
  • Strong knowledge of other online principles and tools like SEO and AdWords Editor
  • Proven track record of working with biddable media and program management skills
  • Be a strong strategic thinker and have excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent management and team working skills are essential for this role
  • Strong passion for digital marketing and paid media in particular
  • Experience with budget management and financial planning
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills
  • Previous experience in HTML, JavaScript or PHP will be a great advantage, but not essential
