We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Paid Search Account Director to join our client’s team. This role is instrumental in the management and optimization of paid search campaigns, leading a team of digital marketing professionals. You’ll be working for one of the largest global media agencies!

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for achieving search performance targets. If you are an analytical, data-driven professional with a proven track record in the digital marketing industry, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Effectively manage and deliver search performance across 3 - 6 client accounts, ensuring they meet performance targets in terms of CPA, ROAS, ROI, and other KPIs.
  • Client and Team Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, overseeing project management, task delegation, and line management for 2 – 4 team members.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse campaign performance, maintaining or improving performance while identifying issues and developing innovative solutions to optimize campaigns. You will be client-facing and demonstrate readiness to progress in building strong relationships with clients.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize competence in performance analysis and data manipulation using tools like Excel and Google Sheets for performance maintenance, issue identification, and solution development.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive performance reports, both for internal and external stakeholders, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment on campaign progress.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior Agency Experience
  • Ability to commute into Manchester City Centre Office
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience in platforms: Search Ads 360 or Skai etc.
  • Proven track record in working towards search performance targets such as CPA, ROAS, and ROI.
  • Strong analytical mindset, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a flair for numbers.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Line Management Experience (desired)
