.Net Developer – Up To £50K

The Candidate are recruiting for one of Manchester most renowned technical brands in their search for a .Net Developer to join the team. Joining a talent team who live and breath to develop in C# OOP, the .Net Developer will be responsible for creating clean code in your search to build greenfield functionality on what will be an industry changing gambling platform. Since the business as secured tens of millions in investment, you will be given the chance to work in an entirely modern and tech-first environment where the software development team runs through its core.

Not only will the .Net Developer be responsible for contributing towards a truly exciting business, you will be given the opportunity to quickly progress into a senior role with a structured career plan in place. Working under a flexible working approach, you will be given the freedom and autonomy to implement new ideas as you drive to progress yourself and the team.

This role is currently based on a fully remote basis, but the business does plan to transition back to a predominantly office based environment when possible.

Key Responsibilities of the .Net Developer:

• Implementation and delivery of sections of functionality and the updating of existing product features.
• Guiding junior developers in their journey into software development.
• Continue your own personal development with a keen eye on new technologies in order to introduce new tech and methodologies into the business.
• Report directly into your Software Development Manager to ensure you are able to deliver your software requirement in line with agreed business needs.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 18 months commercial experience building complex systems using the Microsoft stack.
• Strong understanding of specific Microsoft frameworks with a focus on .Net core.
• Keen attention for detail and a natural desire to thoroughly test and deliver your best quality work.
• Capable of working within an agile environment.
• Experience of unit and functional testing is important.
• Outstanding communicator, both verbally and written, with a desire to build relationships across internal teams and stakeholders.
• Passionate about continuing your self-improvement with a desire to become involved across the entire software lifecycle.
