Media Manager - Manchester (Hybrid Working) - Up to £40,000

Brilliant opportunity to join a household brand that has gone strength to strength. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work with some of the UK’s biggest brands and benefit from hybrid working in a fully-fledged marketing team.

This is an integral role for the business, taking ownership of the media planning and creative strategy for a tight-knit marketing team.


  • Managing and executing the ATL Media Strategy for TV, Radio, Partnerships/Sponsorships, VOD, AdSmart and more.
  • Pull together approval packs for sign off with senior directors – TV, Radio etc.
  • Work closely with agencies to manage delivery across all channels (e.g. TV spot times, VOD impressions etc.)
  • Management of the media agency ensuring deadlines are met and plans are of the right standard/quality.
  • Propose new creative ideas, media channels and constantly test & learn.
  • Ensure the brand are up to speed with new innovations and trends in the Media market.
  • Monitor competitor activity closely, highlighting any opportunities or risks.
  • Some understanding of digital channels and the marketing funnel is required.
  • Reporting and analysis of media and creative performance.
  • Own briefing of asset creation for any sponsorship activity plus activation opportunities.
  • Support Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Director across ad production for TV, Radio, Digital and Social. Ensuring critical path timings are followed.
  • Own the Brand Guidelines and Marketing Calendar.
  • Review the Media and creative strategy in line with the full marketing mix.
  • Ensure brand/creative strategy and media strategy are aligned.

  • Confident and good at building relations with key media contacts.
  • Ideally client-side experience
  • Experience working with other marketing departments, such as Digital, Brand, Creative, Data Science to deliver holistic campaigns and results.
  • Experience working with agencies. Media owners and clients.
  • Experience working with design/production teams to brief in and review creative assets.
  • Experience working with production agencies and clear cast.
