As they continue their quest for market domination, they are now looking to add fresh talent to their team in the form of an ambitious Media Manager. The Media Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day media activities for a selection of high-profile clients whilst also mentoring and training a Media Planner. The triumphant candidate will also be accountable for working closely with the clients in order to ensure that the media solutions are delivered to the highest standard. Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in media planning and account management. An individual who’s comfortable with both offline and online channels will thrive within this exciting new role. This is a client-facing role; therefore, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to build strong relationships.

The Main Responsibilities of the Media Manager:

  • Offer assistant to the Account Lead and ensure that each account is optimised
  • Plan, develop and execute media strategies and campaigns across a variety of platforms
  • Manage the entire process from brief to evaluation whilst also working with the wider team in order to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Manager, mentor and recruit team members, ensuring that all work produced is of the highest standard
  • Build and maintain strong work relationships with clients and third-party agencies
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and changes and highlight the implications for the clients
  • Convey all data and information into clear statistics for the clients

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar media role is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of both offline and online channels
  • Previous experience managing a team whilst demonstrating a strong commercial acumen
  • Comfortable inspiring and communicating with key clients
  • An eye for detail combined with the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Knowledge and experience of key media tools and systems
  • Fantastic communicational, budget management and interpersonal skills
