Marketplace Manager – North England - £35,000 - £50,000 (DOE) – Retail

The Marketplace Manager plays a crucial role in the success of an e-commerce business. This individual is responsible for overseeing and optimising the presence and performance of the company's products on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, and eBay.

Job Summary:

The Marketplace Manager is responsible for managing and optimising our presence on online marketplaces, ensuring product listings are well-maintained, driving sales growth, and maximising profitability. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a marketplace strategy to drive growth and expansion on key platforms.
• Identify new marketplace opportunities and evaluate their potential for the business.
• Create and manage product listings, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and optimised for search rankings.
• Regularly update and refresh product listings to improve their visibility and conversion rates.
• Monitor and analyse competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings.
• Use insights to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. (Preferred)
• Proven experience in e-commerce marketplace management, particularly in the kitchen and homeware industry.
• Proficiency in using marketplace management tools and analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
