Marketing Manager - Manchester City Centre (Hybrid working; 2 days in the office) - £35-£40k - Education

You will be encouraged to develop your professional skillset and have training opportunities constantly provided. This role sits within the Sales and Apprenticeships team, reporting into the Senior Product Marketing Manager. The main reason for this role will be to attract and engage B2B customers and take them through the customer journey. Supporting the sales team to optimise growth, generating a pipeline of leads for services and products.

There is clear progression from this role to either Senior Product Marketing Manager or Senior Digital Marketing Manager – you will be supported in reaching your career goals.

The role will focus on:

  • Developing marketing strategy with clear metrics and KPIs
  • Lead generation
  • Consult other departments (sales etc) on how to specifically target B2B audiences
  • Improve the conversion of B2B leads and former audiences
  • Client newsletter management
  • Brand awareness for the apprenticeship arm of the business
  • Support the Apprenticeship department to plan and deliver important information and incentives
  • Influence sponsorship opportunities – an example would be BAME Apprenticeship Awards
  • Manage the communications calendar
  • Develop briefs for other departments to ensure collateral is constant
  • Lead on initiatives such as events like National Apprenticeship Week and National Careers Week
  • Explore new ways to market the organisation
  • Pull all marketing teams together as one team against a brief
  • Review and report on Salesforce leads

You will be:

  • 3 years B2B marketing experience – either as an executive or manager
  • Strategy driven and expertise
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Broad marketing skills – you will be the ultimate generalist (Blog writing, Whitepapers, SEO, PPC, CRM - the well-established marketing team will aid and assist in these but you need to have all round knowledge)
  • Proven B2B campaign success
  • Project management
  • Curious and confident to ask questions – they really believe no question is a dumb question!
  • Ideally experienced within Salesforce (desirable not essential)


  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days at home)
