The Marketing Manager will take charge of the business’ marketing function so they are looking for an individual who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and generate creative ideas in order to make sure the department’s success is optimised, as they will be the sole team member for the time being. The successful candidate will be fully supported by the business’ parent company and will share resources with their marketing team.

The Main Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • On a daily basis, plan and deliver innovative and engaging email marketing campaigns which can be used to target the companies key audiences
  • Manage all social media accounts, ensuring that relevant content is being shared on a regular basis in order to drive people to the website and events
  • Develop and execute a successful marketing campaign strategy which is aligned with the overall business objectives
  • When required, prepare detailed presentations and monthly marketing reports in order to identify strong areas and areas of concern
  • Take the time to gather market insight and customer feedback as well as managing the database
  • Build strong work relationships with key staff and other third parties

The Key Skills and Attributes of the Marketing Manager:

  • Experience working in a property environment would be ideal but it’s not essential
  • A creative individual who isn’t afraid to be hands-on with the marketing activities
  • Will be knowledgeable in all things marketing and makes it their business to keep their knowledge and skills up to date
  • Have strong computer administrative skills with Office and Google Analytic reporting and analysis
  • Have a natural eye for detail and data driven
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing including Mailchimp campaigns, list management, segmentation and A/B testing
  • Excellent communication, organisational and relationship management skills
