Marketing Director - £60,000 – Cheshire (Hybrid) – Social Housing

This essential B2B services company is looking for a Marketing Director to take control of their marketing and communications strategy. Based in Cheshire (with hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office), they want to reinvent their brand whilst growing and nurturing their client base. Working across all channels, the Marketing Director will produce best-in-class campaigns to delight and attract customers, both online and offline.

A proven leader, the successful candidate will manage a team of talented marketeers and have fantastic thought leadership and communication skills. They will thrive in a dynamic environment, and value the autonomy and authority of this role. The Marketing Director will be enthusiastic, confident, and motivational. With a proven track record of driving growth through the creation of effective marketing strategies, they will have extensive experience (ideally in the B2B sector).

Role and Responsibilities of the Marketing Director:

  • Lead the brand repositioning initiative, both within the company and collaborating with external agencies
  • Effectively implement the brand repositioning throughout the organisation
  • End-to-end ownership of strategy and planning across all channels, building on existing activities and launching new, market-leading initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and implement lead generating plans that are in line with business objectives
  • Demonstrate an understanding of our and rivals' customers and products
  • Work with external creative agencies to develop game-changing campaigns that meet key performance KPIs
  • Work alongside the Sales team to ensure that the greatest results are achieved as a business
  • Assist and mentor your employees to create a nurturing working environment
  • Undertake regular campaign reporting, gleaning valuable insights from data to impact customer experience

Skills & Experience required:

  • Proven track record of creating and implementing effective marketing strategy
  • Brand repositioning experience
  • Experience in driving business growth through marketing initiatives
  • Extensive leadership / management experience
  • Experience in the Social Housing sector
  • Have worked with external agencies and consultancies
  • Understanding of event management, both online and off-line
  • B2B experience is beneficial
  • Brilliant communication, presentation, and written skills
  • Able to communicate complex concepts to all levels of stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial individual – independent, motivated, organised and passionate
  • Keen to lead from the front and motivate their team
  • A full driving licence
