This thriving company is based in Central London and is an established financial services business that has earned a solid reputation by investing and focussing on how technology can benefit their clients. Our client pride themselves on a being a diverse, fun and open culture, a true values-driven business. After a seeing significant growth in both the UK and the US and having just raised significant investment, they are excited to bring in a proven Marketing Director into the senior team.

The Marketing Director will build and shape their own team, reporting directly to the CEO. The main focus will be on creating value and growth for the business on an international level. Even though this role is based in the UK, the successful candidate will operate, lead and manage their business within the US market. There is even the opportunity for occasional travel to the US!

There is also an initiative to transition to an ABM model when it comes to lead generation – ensuring both marketing and sales efforts are inciting engagement and strong working relationships. The role will also include strengthening brand image by securing a unique and valuable position in the market to differentiate from competitors. Working with the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will also help create a growth strategy for the business ensuring key targets are on track to be met. Securing new clients by being practical and hands on with Marketing and PR activity is vital for this role!

Responsibilities of the Marketing Director:

  • Implement the ABM initiative across the business for both UK and US offices
  • Ensure revenue and growth targets are met
  • Lead and develop your Marketing Team
  • Refine brand image for internal and external comms – focussing on the customer journey
  • Focus on online channels such as the website in order to align marketing efforts with business strategy
  • Content creation for all channels including social media, account management and sales pipelines
  • Implement CRM and Marketing automation
  • Be a brand champion at networking opportunities and industry events
  • Manage Marketing data according to GDPR standards
  • Communicate campaign and strategy to various stakeholders

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Proven experience in growing revenue in a technology-focussed B2B environment
  • Thorough experience of account-based marketing
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Analytically minded and passionate about finance
  • Professional and well organised
  • Creative with an eye for detail
