Situated within travelling distance from Manchester City Centre, the company has built themselves a strong reputation within the consultancy industry and as they continue to gain new business, they are now looking to add fresh talent to the team in the form of a driven Marketing Co-ordinator to help with the daily marketing activities whilst also assisting with the Bid documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to get your foot in the door of a nationally-recognised business and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel to various sites and events so a car is vital for the role. Our client has a passion for innovation and is looking for an individual who shares this value and loves to go the extra mile!

The Main Responsibilities of the Marketing Co-ordinator:

  • Oversee the business’ social media channels including Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter and ensure that engaging content is shared and interaction with clients occurs
  • Manage the company’s website and project profiles by driving traffic and optimising conversions
  • Take charge and update all brand collateral whilst carrying out regular reporting on CRM database
  • Utilising SEO within the website content to aid high rankings
  • Design and create cutting-edge graphics which can be utilised across a variety of mediums by using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • Manage all PR output and organise any company events
  • Creating and managing the annual marketing and business budget for the whole business
  • Provide a regular marketing expenditure report to the management team
  • Become the ‘go-to’ person for marketing and communication queries
  • Create good working relationships with other business professionals on a regular basis, including event managers, construction professionals and web developers   

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Strong copywriting skills and an excellent understanding of keywords
  • Competent utilising Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Photoshop
  • Genuine interest in Social Media and a sound knowledge of Sage Act Database
  • An eye for detail combined with an excellent commercial acumen
  • Has their own car and is willing to travel to client sites!
