Marketing Analyst – Global Ecommerce Brand - Wigan – £35,000 

My client is a dynamic health/beauty ecommerce brand who are absolutely killing it at the moment, and they don’t show any signs of slowing down!  Due to a sustained period of explosive growth, the business is now on the hunt to add new talent to their international marketing team in the form of a Marketing Analyst! 

As a business, they are doing incredibly well and this role it a pivotal hire for them as part of their international expansion over the next 12 months. They’re expanding into new countries every month (in the next 3 months alone they're expanding into Canada, Australia, and China) so there's loads to go after and a huge scope for progression and development. The Marketing Analyst will focus primarily on analysing digital marketing campaigns and business data in order to provide the team with an insight into the company’s key audience and to support future business decisions and marketing campaigns. A highly analytical individual with a passion for numbers and turning data into invaluable information will thrive within this fantastic role.

The Main Responsibilities of the Marketing Analyst: 

  • Through analysis and research, support the digital marketing team with campaign budget, optimisation, and analysis
  • Build reports which will be utilised to detail performance to the entire business and can be used to influence future decisions
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, changes, and upcoming tools
  • Help track campaign performance by assisting team with the set up of tracking tools and other dashboards
  • Develop and manage strong work relationships with third party agencies and other departments in order to help drive the business forward
  • Aim to improve current methods whilst also thoroughly researching the latest tools and techniques. 
  • Ensure best practices across all analytics platforms and systems.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Previous experience in a similar analytical role is essential
  • A background in Ecommerce
  • Solid understanding of marketing analytics and customer insight
  • Proficient with Google Analytics (and Google Tag Manager would be advantageous)  
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and producing high-quality work
