This multi award-winning business focuses solely on their clients’ values and needs, which have made them highly successful through the years and, therefore, now require a new Magento Developer to join their office in Cheshire, which is easily accessible from the main motorways from either Manchester or Liverpool.

The Magento Developer will be working with the other team members on the company’s online platform. This is the perfect role for an individual who’s highly experienced and talented in mid-weight development and is looking to sink their teeth into a new challenge! The right candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion in becoming an integral part of a multi-national business and their expertise will be vital for the business’ future strategy.  

The Main Responsibilities of the Magento Developer:

  • Assist on daily technical issues for the online platforms, including troubleshooting and debugging whilst also working with other departments in order to support customer requests
  • Constantly update procedures in order to manage system protocols
  • When required, offer assistance to server deployment, upgrades and version release management
  • Aim to provide the best possible customer experience by focusing on site speed and scalability
  • Research and analyse any technical issues to solve problems and modify scripts for systems monitoring, data integration and event detection!

The Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • At least 3 years’ development experience, particularly using MySQL
  • Strong knowledge of PHP Frameworks, DDD, SOLID principles and Object Oriented Design pat-terns
  • Previous experience of using PHP best coding practices and PSR
  • An individual who’s up-to-date on the latest industry trends
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of MVC and Design Patterns
  • Comfortable developing, optimising and debugging PHP web applications
  • Having a huge interest in nutrition brands are highly beneficial for this role
  • You must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Have an excellent commercial awareness
