This is a great opportunity for an individual to contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking, award-winning digital agency.  The Head of SEO will be in charge of all campaign activity for the agency’s various SEO clients. It will be their main responsibility to ensure that campaigns are delivered to the highest standard possible and achieve the desired results for the clients. The successful candidate will also be accountable for building and maintaining strong work relationships with key account holders whilst also creating award-winning, ground-breaking SEO strategies.

Taking ownership of identifying and executing appropriate optimisations for the clients is also a key part of the role. The Head of SEO will be required to work effectively alongside the Head of Paid Media in order to ensure the best search strategies are delivered to all clients. Our client is looking for an individual who likes to differentiate themselves from the rest, an individual who is highly motivated and passionate about all things SEO will prosper in this exciting new role!

The Main Responsibilities of the Head of SEO:

  • Create and execute SEO best practices
  • On a regular basis, conduct competitor and gap analysis in order to analyse the current market situation
  • Take full ownership of the strategy and delivery for SEO, earned media and content marketing
  • In regards to monthly deliverable, take responsibility for the figures and ensure that all team targets are met
  • Combine both the technical and creative elements of all campaigns
  • Develop and embrace new services which could contribute to the success of the agency
  • Generate detailed reports which analyse the performance of each campaign and take full responsibility for the results
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO trends and changes and communicate these to the wider search team

The Perfect Candidate:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of delivering successful online marketing campaigns including outreach, social and organic search
  • Proven experience of hands-on Google Analytics experience
  • Fantastic organisational, leadership and communication skills combined with an exception ‘eye for detail’
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO including international considerations
  • Excellent knowledge of industry tools such as deep crawl
  • A highly motivated and analytical individual!
