Our client is an impressive digital agency that offers flexi-remote working and an impressive bonus scheme. They’re experts in their field and are responsible for an award-winning, digital insight platform. Following a large investment and partnership with an international business, they are looking to build their sales team for this new phase of growth and reach new heights!

Working with the CEO, the Sales Director will help shape the company’s operational strategy, having experience in B2B sales and entrepreneurial drive. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to sales, constantly exceeding targets and reaching new goals. There will be a strong emphasis on SaaS sales, so the ideal candidate will have previous experience working on a subscription model. Experience in building and developing a team is also vital! If you are ready to sink your teeth into a role and really drive the trajectory of the business forward, pushing sales and making a difference, then we want to hear from you!

Role and Responsibilities of the Head of Sales:

  • Defining and executing sales strategy
  • Experience in SaaS - thorough knowledge of subscription models
  • Operational management – refine systems and processes to ensure a steady revenue stream
  • Developing the sales matrix for the business to streamline and optimise performance
  • Build and develop a high-performing sales team, including designing training initiatives
  • Oversee budgets and forecast P&L for rapid growth
  • Work alongside other teams in order to gather a holistic understanding of the product and collaborate on innovative plans to increase revenue, such as marketing efforts
  • Get stuck in – not only will you oversee your team, but you will also attract prospective clients and lead by example

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in a sales role (6+ years)
  • A talented and seasoned leader (3+ years of team management experience)
  • Marketing experience would be ideal (3+ years in performance or attribution)
  • Proven experience developing a high-performing sales team
  • Experience using Hubspot or Salesforce to run a CRM/tech stack
  • Motivated to stay ahead of the competition when in comes to sales techniques, training and technology
  • Understanding of commercial contracts
  • Ambitious - ready to make an impact and get stuck in!
  • Passionate about providing innovative and effective solutions for customers
  • Great communication and relationship building skills, ideally with experience in different markets or cultures
