Our client is one of the UK’s favourite consumer services brands delighting millions of customers every year with their amazing services. Due to huge success, they are now on the hunt for fresh talent in the form of the Head of Performance.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the Head of Performance will have end to end control of the acquisition strategy across all brands, aiming to exceed KPI’s and drive the business forward. Ideally, the right candidate will have a track record of managing multiple marketing projects in a retail ecommerce setting, and an expert understanding of all marketing disciplines, including operational tasks. They will also have expert knowledge of digital marketing techniques including PPC, Affiliates, Paid Social and Display.

Based in Manchester, the office is currently working from home, however there are plans to have flexible working in place indefinitely, where you would work from home 2-3 days a week if preferred.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Head of Performance:

  • Deliver engaging and powerful search and display strategies for all brands
  • Manage the daily running of these channels and maximise ROI
  • Optimise the digital acquisition strategy using relevant tools and technologies to improve performance
  • Amplify the brand and increase brand awareness
  • Responsible for all online and offline marketing campaigns and making recommendations by analysing performance.
  • Ensure a test and learn strategy is in place in order to identify future trends and gain a competitive advantage
  • Environmental analysis of the industry and competitors
  • Liaise with senior management team, directors, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to budget and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance
  • Manage your direct reports effectively and push for development and growth of the team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a Paid Media role, in particular PPC (2/3 years desirable)
  • Confident communicator with a can-do attitude.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about innovating digital acquisition strategy.
  • Highly organised, able to multi-task and excellent attention to detail.
  • Identify new opportunities and stay commercially aware.
  • Previous experience managing a successful team.
