Situated in Manchester City Centre, our client’s office is easily accessible from a variety of locations plus with the many bars and restaurants on their doorstep, unwinding after work won’t be a problem. Over the years, the company has successfully provided their customers with memorable experiences across the UK. As the business continues to grow at a rapid rate, they are now on the hunt for a creative, hard-working Head of Marketing who will take the business to the next level.

The Head of Marketing will take full responsibility for management and development of the competent marketing team whilst also building strong links with key stakeholders and other departments within the business. Working alongside the other heads of departments, they will deliver a creative marketing strategy which will aim to drive brand awareness and sales. No two days will ever be the same as the Head of Marketing will focus on optimising all marketing channels from content to PR communications.

The Key Responsibilities of the Head of Marketing:

  • Overall marketing strategy management that drives brand awareness, drive retention and acquisition whilst working across multi-channels
  • Create excellent brand marketing strategies
  • Manage local marketing partnerships through the engagement of local events
  • Manage a strong team as well as stakeholders, external agencies and clients
  • Manage the marketing budget, achieving the best return on investment
  • Keep the brand fresh and on trend with their target audience
  • Manage and delegate team workload whilst also motivating and incentivising them

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Experience of successfully managing stakeholders
  • Experience of managing a budget
  • A proven track record of successful brand development
  • Can work with and build strong relationships with external marketing and digital agencies
  • Experience in team management, developing and motivating people
  • Commercially savvy, passionate about marketing and driven to succeed with ambitious brand expectations
  • Highly analytical combined with a strong creative flair
  • Someone who can keep the brand fresh and on trend with their target audience
  • Creative and up to date on the latest advances in marketing and their impact on strategy
