They pride themselves on their innovative and dynamic business strategy, therefore they are searching for a talented Head of Digital Marketing to join them in pursuit of their goals.

The Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for managing a team of individuals in order to plan and execute effective CRM campaigns with the aim to increase customer retention and profitability. This role also provides a huge scope for career progression, especially for a candidate that has their sights set on becoming a Marketing Director in the future.

Main Responsibilities of the Head of Digital Marketing:

  • Be the driving force behind the transformation of our marketing strategy in order to enhance profitability and customer retention.
  • Manage digital and online traffic and be familiar with marketplace trading activities to support the main focus of increased conversion.
  • Take charge of PPC and SEO strategies.
  • Develop effective affiliates marketing strategies in order to generate traffic and sales.
  • Utilise effective and innovative social media marketing strategies in order to increase web traffic and increase conversion.
  • Improve customer journey by developing a creative strategy in order to increase conversion rates.
  • Able to create compelling CRM strategy and deliver effective marketing campaigns.
  • Manage a team of individuals, motivating them and managing their needs and career progression.
  • Improve customer journey by developing a creative strategy in order to increase conversion rates.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience leading a marketing team for a large retailer, preferably online.
  • Expert creating CRM strategy and delivering effective direct marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail and brand development.
  • Passionate about generating an innovative and creative customer journey.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing and a strong understanding of digital technology and its application within the commercial world.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills. You will be required to communicate efficiently and concisely and build strong working relationships within your team, the commercial team and other departments.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience managing digital and offline traffic.
  • Highly organised and an extremely analytical thinker.
