This ecommerce business is a rapidly growing fashion retailer based in Manchester city centre, on their doorstep are the hustle and bustle of shops, restaurants and bars. They are rapidly gaining market share in their sector providing stylish and affordable fashion to their customers. Every day is different in their offices and they are looking for someone who will inject the business with energy, passion, knowledge and determination to take them to the next level.

The Head of Digital and Marketing will lead an excellent growing inhouse team and external agency that will deliver the full marketing strategy. This company is at a pinnacle stage of growth, reaching out into international markets, launching 2 new brands within the portfolio and so they are looking for a strong candidate to join them who has experience in both fashion and / or beauty and has a full grasp of digital. As part of the growth of the company the Head of Digital and Marketing will be integral in the long term strategy and their transition into the US Market, ideally this person will have proven success in this market. This is at a great time in to join this thriving retailer and it will create a fantastic platform for development and exposure. 

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong background in the fashion and / or beauty industry and have a high digital grasp is essential in order to hit the ground running
  • Having a strong grasp and deep understanding  of the target audience is essential
  • Experience working successfully with a similar size business in the region of £15- £20 million annual turnover within their career
  • Confident and analytical in reporting on performance and making recommendation for improvements
  • Decisive and able to make considered decisions
  • Driven and enthusiastic with an entrepreneurial mind who can be creative and has a long-term vision that will aid international expansion into the US and launching new brands
  • Must have a good interpersonal skills and can use these with integrity to influence and gain buy in with agencies, departments and key relationships
  • Focused and committed with achieving and exceeding targets
  • Have a supportive and encouraging nature and other important leadership skills, capable of setting and monitoring KPIs and developing the team
  • Can prioritise and work across multiple tasks and channels when required
  • Numerical and able to quantify facts and figures and able to use analytical tools such as Google Analytics to report and provide insight
  • Experience managing budgets and marketing campaigns across digital channels including PPC, Paid Social, CRM, SEO, Affiliates and a strong knowledge of the full marketing mix

Please note our client would look at a more junior option for this role, someone with strong experience who is looking for a step up. They would have to exhibit stand out qualities and would be offered a salary to reflect their skills and experience levels
