Based in Merseyside, our client is a force to be reckoned with and have managed to build themselves a long-standing reputation of providing customers with first-class products. Having won multiple prestigious awards, they are now looking to expand the business and in doing so, our client is looking to hire fresh talent in the form of a Head of Digital and Ecommerce!

This is a brand-new role for the business and the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the CEO. The Head of Digital and Ecommerce will take full responsibility for their international, multi-channel ecommerce and digital strategies. Working closely with the other Heads of Departments, the triumphant candidate will become the driving force behind successful campaigns. The company is looking for an individual who can demonstrate excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and who isn’t afraid to go above and beyond in order to get the job done.

The Main Responsibilities of the Head of Digital and Ecommerce:

  • Devise, execute and manage the digital and ecommerce strategies in order to optimise international growth
  • Manage all international ecommerce and digital marketing campaigns whilst also ensuring that the marketing budget is adhered to
  • Oversee the social media accounts and take charge of all online content
  • Recruit, train and grow both the marketing and ecommerce teams as well as maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends
  • Create and implement lead generation, affiliate and influencer/PR strategies
  • Analyse sales performance trends and create best practices for future campaigns
  • Produce regular reports for key stakeholders and constantly seek to improve the organisation

The Key Skills and Attributes: 

  • Previous experience within a similar digital and ecommerce role is essential
  • Strong understanding of how to use different channels to increase engagement
  • Proven track record of delivering successful ecommerce and digital marketing strategies
  • Expert knowledge of international B2C strategies and campaigns
  • Capable of building strong relationships with key contacts
  • Fantastic project management, budget management, communication and organisational skills are essential
  • A highly analytical individual with strong stakeholder influencing skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and a ‘hands-on’ approach
