Head of Customer Marketing - Travel - £65-75k basic + bonus + car allowance – Hybrid working (2/3 day split)

Our client, an innovative and highly-regarded travel group are one of the largest in the industry and the UK. We are actively seeking on their behalf, an experienced Head of Customer Marketing to join a well-established internal marketing team and take ownership of all direct customer communications for the group across Email/CRM, Content & Social. 

This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to take leadership of a thriving groups CRM strategy. A group which have expanded into international territories of recent and have numerous exciting projects underway in the new year…

Responsibilities:

  • Take full control of the planning, development and execution of the company’s CRM strategy, optimising all customer acquisition, retention and reactivation activities.
  • Ownership of all direct customer communications across Email, Content & Social
  • Work with the wider Marketing, Product & Commercial team in a data-first fashion
  • With regards to the CRM programme, offer advice to the Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders.
  • Be the go-to project leader in regards to onboarding and integration of data sources.
  • Constantly aim to automate and optimise the efficiency of all CRM/Content/Social activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and changes.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ CRM experience, with a particular focus on data management
  • Previous experience working with a minimum 6 figure database, driving engagement, retention and loyalty
  • Capable of managing and mentoring a team, ensuring that the quality of work produced is of the highest standard
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, list management and GDPR.
  • Proven project management experience, working with new accounts and brands.
