A multi-award winning professional services business is on the hunt for a Head of Customer Insight. Establish and lead a new team within the marketing department of this industry leader, based in Manchester City Centre.

The Head of Customer Insight will be tasked with leading the delivery of all customer and market insight, performance analytics and reporting production. The Head of Customer Insight will be responsible for delivering high-quality outputs which provide actionable insights for marketing and commercial decisions to be based upon.

 The Head of Customer Insight will have expertise in commercial analysis and insight across quantitate and qualitative customer profiling. In addition to marketing effectiveness, web analytics, lead generation tracking, operational KPI’s, quality scoring and commercial ROI analysis.

The Main Responsibilities of the Head of Customer Insights:

  • Raise the value of customer insight data within the business planning process through effective communication.
  • Inform the turnaround strategy to drive profitable growth across all businesses by providing detailed customer insight.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of customers for all brands and channels.
  • Convert large, disparate and raw data sets into pragmatic recommendations for the business.
  • Ensure the best possible analysis, presented in the best possible way, b taking responsibility for KPI production and all related outputs.
  • Facilitate the marketing team to make informed decisions to achieve KPI’s and objectives by delivering real insights from the data.
  • Conduct and incorporate data sources and reports into reporting frameworks and develop new reporting solutions.
  • Convey new reports, trends and other news across the company.
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects focusing on strategy and answering the wider business questions.
  • Have a good understanding of relevant analytical and statistical techniques and progressive analysis opportunities.

 Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Extensive experience of converting data into stories and of delivering analysis across a range of verticals.
  • Ability to articulate and implement a focused and business-orientated strategy for evolving the department and its outputs through strong strategic capabilities.
  • A direct leader with the capacity to inspire and influence whilst hitting targets.
  • Strong familiarity with analytic and commercial skills.
