Take on a new challenge and join this vibrant Manchester city centre based Fintech business as their Head of Content!

You will join the business on an extremely exciting leg of their growth journey, therefore an innovative mindset and a passion for content is crucial.

The Head of Content will be incredibly eloquent and able to deliver cutting-edge content which is informative, cohesive and consistent across all channels. The ideal individual must also fully immerse themselves in the brand in order to understand the business and their consumers inside-out. This will be achieved through building a strong rapport with senior stakeholders in the business and having a diligent attitude towards content, understanding how to manipulate it in a way that will engage customers and drive performance.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Head of Content:

  • Take charge of the design, development, and implementation of a content strategy and framework that supports the business' communications strategy.
  • Develop and implement their content strategy, both online and offline, to maximise the effectiveness of communications inside and outside the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and PR teams to ensure a cohesive and measured approach to all content.
  • Work closely with the UX and Design teams as well as partner agencies to produce the most creative content for all customer facing copy.
  • Work with the insight team to develop regular reports on the effectiveness of content campaigns.
  • Responsible for managing and training all new members of the team.
  • Lead as a brand ambassador to help strengthen brand awareness.
  • Create impactful campaigns that get brand values and visions across effectively.
  • Fully responsible for the company's content budget.

Must have:

  • Comfortable with all forms of content – copy, photography and videography.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A highly likable and personable character.
  • Previous experience writing content in a business which has guidelines and regulations such as finance.
  • A journalistic background is highly desirable.
  • Able to develop the content strategy to its full potential.
  • A strong motivator with excellent leadership and team building skills.
  • Highly innovative with a creative flair.
  • Commercially aware and constantly staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  • A degree in English, Politics, Journalism or other communications related subject.
