Head of Buying

Head of Buying - Liverpool - £50,000 – eCommerce 

You’ll take full ownership of the buying strategy, becoming responsible for the department KPIs and managing a team of Assistants/Buying Admins.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the department KPIs
• Manage a team of Assistants and/or Buying Admins.
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers.
• Presenting new ranges to Senior Management.
• Develop category strategy and how it supports the wider fashion strategy.
• Contributing to trade meetings, communicating key messages and actions to wider depts.
• Maintaining relationships with designers and merchandisers.
• Formulating range plans.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in buying, ideally in the fashion sector.
• Comfortable managing and maintaining relationships with key departments.
• Proven track record of sourcing new suppliers.
• Comfortable managing a team of junior buyers.
• Strong attention to detail.
