Group Marketing Manager - £50,000- £60,000 - Macclesfield (5 min walk from station, hybrid working) - FMCG

I have just had a great Group Marketing Manager role signed off for a FMCG organisation. They are a really friendly organisation, who own a plethora of different wholesale brands under their organisation.

They have a combined turnover of over £550 million+ combined turnover, meaning their funding is secure and are one of the UK’s largest independent food buying groups, and a market leader!

The main purpose of the role will be to create and sustain the marketing strategy for the organisation. The team is currently built up of 5 members, who will report into you, with you reporting directly into the MD.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Market the own 4 brands plus the wholesale options.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders – there is agency help with this role.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and develop a marketing team of 5.
  • Create and manage an annual marketing budget.
  • Plan PR campaigns oversee all social media activity.
  • Work with the team to maintain and update the website and intranet.
  • Research, report and analyse market trends, demographics and competitor activity.
  • Confidently implement new and better ways of working and encourage best practises.
  • Organise the large scale conference every two years. 
  • Create reports and present quarterly to the board of directors.

You will have;

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally B2B.
  • Experience of managing and developing brands.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to succeed.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Team management, leadership and development skills.
  • Strong writing and PowerPoint skills.
