A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a Group Business Director at one of the UK’s most exciting integrated agencies. The multi-award winning agency delivers cutting-edge media, digital, creative and marketing solutions for some of the world’s biggest and best brands. Our client is looking for someone with a wealth of account management experience to lead the team that work on household accounts. This is an exciting, hands-on role which will require the successful candidate to manage and develop the team! The successful candidate will also find themselves on a well-trodden career path to become Managing Director within a short time period.

The Group Business Director will have a passion for all things marketing and will use their enthusiasm to motivate and inspire the team. It is essential that applicants have superior client facing and communications skills as the successful candidate will attend regular client meetings and pitches as well as lead workshops and deliver briefs to the team. As this is a senior role the Group Business Director must be confident working at a strategic level and alongside the agency group heads.

The Key Responsibilities of the Group Business Director:

  • Develop and maintain unbreakable relationships with key senior level clients
  • Manage and develop internal stakeholders and assist them on moving through the ranks
  • Optimise agency sales by ensuring excellent client services as well as identifying new business opportunities
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends and maintain a strong presence within the industry

The Perfect Candidate:

  • At least 10 years’ client services experience
  • Highly ambitious, driven by success
  • Previous experience of developing and executing successful client service strategies
  • Proven track-record of managing multi-million pound accounts
  • Outstanding leadership, time management and communication skills
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills and the ability to motive other team members
  • Comfortable building strong work relationships with key clients
