Calling all Analysts! Become the Financial Modelling and Forecasting Analyst for a global fashion empire in Manchester City Centre and put your analytical skills to the test!

Based in vibrant Manchester City Centre, our client is at the top of their game and with an array of successful brands under their belt, they don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.  The City Centre office is based a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the trendiest shops, cafes and bars! The Financial Modelling and Forecasting Analyst will be instrumental in the future growth of the business, therefore, our client is now looking an individual who can demonstrate experience in generating statistical models and then identifying trends and predicting forecasts. An individual with a proven track record of working with statistical packages including SAS will thrive within this exciting new role. The business is also looking for someone with mathematical modelling experience.

The Main Responsibilities of the Financial Modelling and Forecasting Analyst:

  • Design and create statistical models whilst also carrying out risk assessments using scenario analysis.
  • Define, shape and maintain all financial models and forecasting in order to optimise all decision making.
  • During periods of change, recommend and execute relevant updates to the financial models and undertake specialist analysis to model historical data.
  • Convert financial modelling advice into advice which a non-expert could understand.
  • Accountable for reviewing all financial models in order to provide quality advice.
  • Mentoring and developing a team to ensure a high quality of work is produced.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • A degree in a numerical subject.
  • Previous experience in statistical modelling, forecasting, analytical.
  • Proven experience with SAS, SPSS or MI packages would be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience completing complex data.
  • Capable of creating proposals and providing insight based on findings.
  • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to solve complex numeracy problems.
  • An analytical and pragmatic mind.
