Our client is an extremely successful online fashion retailer who has experienced extraordinary growth since opening their doors and there’s no stopping them yet! As the Ecommerce Trading Executive, you will be responsible for the global trading activity across the website, including ensuring that all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan.

The ideal candidate will be target driven and passionate about reaching business performance KPI’s and customer expectations. You will be expected to understand the websites performance by using analytics tools and working closely alongside the Insight team in order to make daily recommendations of amendments. This role also requires a strong commercial flair and excellent communication and organisation skills.

Main Responsibilities of the Ecommerce Trading Executive:

  • Have a strong understanding of trading performance such as traffic behaviour and conversion triggers and feed this into the key directional and trade meetings.
  • Responsible for the execution of promotional plan across desktop, tablet, mobile and app devices in order to gain maximum visitor attention and drive sales and conversion. 
  • Work with Ecommerce Executives, Assistants and Visual Merchandisers.
  • Using web analytics tools and working with the Insight Team, you will monitor performance of all the key elements of the website to understand the success of the promotional programme. Making recommendations for change and feeding this back to other managers.
  • Merchandising all products to maximise sales through cross/up selling and site aesthetics. 
  • Carrying out full site audits, ensuring all current stock is displayed online correctly.
  • Produce regular competitor analysis reports across retail stores and online to understand the market thoroughly.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of banner clicks, traffic behaviour, conversion triggers.
  • Good understanding of analytics tools.
  • Highly organised.
  • Passionate and target driven.
  • Strong commercial flair.
