Ecommerce Strategist (Client services) - Newcastle (flexible working) - £30k + Bonus & Commission - Agency

Our client specialises in eCommerce, working with some of the biggest names in retail, to build and grow their businesses online. Reporting to the Account Director, the Ecommerce Strategist will be responsible for developing and building client relationships.

They are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate strong a strong strategic approach to online retailers to manage a portfolio of clients and immerse yourself in each of your client's businesses, this will be a collection of top retail clients.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to consultatively sell - you will be responsible for their growth, satisfaction, and relationship with this agency, ensuring your clients are happy and their online business is growing by ensure there is a strategy in place.

This role requires a results-driven, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and proactive candidate with excellent communication skills and some understanding of the digital marketing channel ecosystem- including SEO, Paid search, Social, Email, Affiliates and Conversion Rate.

Based in their Newcastle or Stockton offices, the successful candidate can expect a competitive package, realistic and achievable targets, flexible working, unlimited paid holidays, and experience working with a highly talented team. Key Skills and Attributes:

  • 2 years experience in a similar position – Agency or Client Side
  • An understanding of Digital Marketing channels- SEO, PPC, Email, Social Media, Affiliates, Influencer etc.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and be someone who can close a marketing deal
  • KPI driven
  • Commercial awareness and strong financial motivation
  • Strong communication skills
