This company is a very competitive retailer and their creative approach to the market is highly successful, which is proven by the many industry awards they have won through the years. They are based in Manchester, where the rightful candidate will join a growing team. This is a brand new role within the business, so there is great freedom for the successful candidate to grow. The eCommerce Project Manager will be developing the newly built Magento 2 site with the aim to improve the customer journey and drive traffic growth. Working with set KPIs, the eCommerce Project Manager will be managing leading projects to enhance business growth and revenue.

Main responsibilities of the eCommerce Project Manager

  • Run and manage every process of the set projects to ensure budgets and deadlines are kept
  • Communicate with different stakeholders and run specific projects with them
  • Analyse the full online customer experience by sourcing data and implement UAT scripts
  • Create weekly reports to key stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities enable to drive revenue and save cost
  • Produce relevant material together with external partners
  • Ensure that all new functions are incorporated into the corporate system
  • Identify any issues and run problem-solving strategies
  • Manage all capitals relevant to the project to meet the set deadlines

Required skills for the role

  • MUST HAVE Magento 2 experience
  • Previous project management experience and working with agile. 
  • The successful candidate must have a project management qualification
  • Ability to understand marketing and technology terminology to communicate well between the two parts
  • Proven experience of working with different stakeholders in a previous role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Previous experience managing teams, technical issues and run negotiations
  • Strong knowledge of UX and customer journey
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities
